International experience and an eye for problem solving

Elisabet Feeley’s upbringing in the U.S. and Sweden has meant that she now values being able to travel and enjoys a sense of community in the work place. With an international degree in Economics and Environmental Science, she joined Brokerway in August 2017.
“The best part about sitting with our clients, is that I can get involved with the development of the system and can take a more hands on approach when it comes to problem solving.”
She’s the latest addition to Brokerway and is a back-office consultant working directly with clients. There, she works with processing corporate actions through one of the systems that Brokerway offers. There are a lot of things happening in the market that our clients and their customers need to know about, and one of the biggest challenges is managing to get all the information out to them on time.
“By working in the system every day, I gain an understanding of what kind of problems our clients have and how to solve them in the best possible way. I can see right away where things go wrong and help to find a good solution to the problem.”
Elisabet was raised by a Swedish mother and an American father. This has given her two languages, two home countries, and a natural desire to travel. Therefore, it wasn’t a stretch for her to do the IB-program in high school and thereafter go to the University of Stirling in Scotland. With a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental science, she returned to Stockholm in 2014 and began working at Swedbank, where she is now a consultant for Brokerway.
“My colleagues are the best part of my job,” says Elisabet. “I truly feel like I am a part of a company that values my opinion.”
